Founding Attorney
No one plans to end up in family court. You didn’t marry this person or have a child with this person, expecting it to end in heartbreak. I know. I am divorced. I founded Compass Family Law because I want to help people like you identify your goals and build a new future- a future where there is less pain, less uncertainty and more peace.
I was born in the Lowcountry and knew from a young age that I wanted to be an attorney. I am passionate about my work and helping families move forward with their lives. When my first marriage ended it was difficult, but today I enjoy a successful co-parenting relationship with my son’s father. When I am not at work, I enjoy gourmet cooking, hunting and fishing and spending time with my loved ones.
Associate Attorney

Senior Paralegal
With 16 years of experience, Leslie joined Compass Family Law after her previous employer retired his practice. Her strengths revolve around client support, file management, and supporting our attorneys. Leslie is an invaluable member of our team. She came to the Lowcountry as a teenager when her father was stationed here while serving in the U.S. Navy. Residing with her husband, Will, in Moncks Corner, she has one grown son. Her interests include reading, spending as much time as she can at the beach, and doting on her two dogs, Millie and Griffey.
Client Relationship Coordinator
Born in South Korea, Stevie was adopted by her Texas family at 7 months old. As the oldest of seven children of diverse backgrounds, Stevie chose Social Work as her field of study. She graduated from Harding University with a Bachelors of Social Work in 2020. Her social work experience led to an interest in family relationships and family law.
She accepted a position as Executive Assistant in 2021 with Compass Family Law and transitioned into Client Relationship Coordinator in 2023. She is thrilled to be a part of this team, as she strongly believes in the firm’s mission of helping individuals navigate difficult situations.
